Many golfers spend hours practicing without specific goals or objectives and are not satisfied with the results. Private lessons are best for students who are interested in one-on-one instruction and who wish to practice in between lessons as opposed to enrolling in several hours of continuous instruction
Video Lesson (60 min. / $150 PGA)
Palm Desert Golf Academy at Desert Willow uses JC Video swing analysis featuring state-of-the-art teaching and swing comparison capabilities. JC Video is the ultimate in video analysis providing the opportunity to capture a golfer’s swing. Using the internet to send by e-mail, the golfers can view a complete analysis with instructor comments.
Introduction Full Swing Lesson (60 min. / $100 PGA / $80 Apprentice)
Your instructor will evaluate your swing fundamentals, identify your swing faults and prescribe a course of action.
Putting (60 Min. / $100 PGA / $80 Apprentice)
Turning three putts into two or one can do wonders for your handicap. Our instruction covers putting stroke fundamentals and individual stroke analysis; green reading techniques; general putting drills as well as distance and feel drills.
Short Game lesson (90 Min. / $150 PGA)
Another vital path to better scores, the short game includes instruction advice and techniques for chipping, pitching / lob, and sand play.
On course “Playing Lesson” with PGA professional (120 Min. / $250)
On-course application of swing and course management principles takes your session from the theoretical to the practical. This is where it all comes together!
Your certified PGA / TPI instructor will first evaluate your golf swing and ball flight with the aid of the J.C. Video swing analysis system. Next he will the take you into our golf fitness trailer and run you through some revealing flexibility tests, which will explain exactly why you do what you do in your golf swing. He will then put you on a CUSTOM tailored flexibility program based on your individual needs. You will receive a take home flexibility evaluation along with a custom workout program detailing your golf specific exercises and stretches
